Yankton Unit
Boys & Girls Club of the Missouri River Area, Yankton Unit, is an after school and summer year round program designed to provide safe, educationally enriching, quality programs for children in 5th through 12th grade 4 hours a day, 5 days a week for 12 months when adult supervision may not be available.
Quality: Our Yankton Unit staff members are experienced in the area of youth development. All staff members are background checked and trained annually in a variety of important areas including Youth Development, CPR, and First Aid.
Activities: Program and activities are provided in our five Core program areas, Character & Leadership, Education & Career, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, Sports, Fitness & Recreation. This program is conducted and planned by a staff trained to meet the needs of children and provide positive adult role models.
Location: The Yankton Unit is a dedicated facility located at 1804 Broadway, Yankton, SD.
Hours: School Year: Tuesday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm; Friday & Saturday 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Summer: Monday - Friday 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Affordability: $25 per child ($50 maximum per family) annually; However, no child will be turned away due to inability to pay.
